Ms. Kathleen Koehler

This will be my 11th year at Weldre9. I have taught a variety of science classes over the years. For 2022-2023, I will teach Pre-AP Biology,  AP Biology, and new to HHS is concurrent enrollment through AIMS Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries. I love science, it is an ever-changing world and learning never stops!

I am a Colorado native. My family was military and I grew up in Colorado Springs. I attended Colorado State University and attained my Bachelor's and Master's in Education. My emphasis is Science and Sports Medicine.

Currently, I am married with two adult children. I have traveled extensively with a variety of sports teams all around the world. My philosophy for education is to present interesting life lessons and encourage students to inquire and learn. I want students to experiment and step out of their comfort zones to broaden their horizons.
