Ms. Cherise Gerrish

Dear Students and Families,

My career in education started with a degree in English with an addtional Teaching Certificate from Brigham Young University. I eventual went on to get a Master's in Gifted Education with special experience in Twice Exceptional Learner. Over the course of wandering, I have taught everything from preschool to community college. I'm excited to be in my second decade as a secondary classroom English Language Arts teacher. My passion is seeing students grow, getting them prepared to add their voices to a global community, and opening as many doors to their future as possible. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, and parents, exploring new places and the great outdoors near and far, and, of course, curling up with a good book. 

I'm excited to share this school year with you.
