Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (PK-8), Alternative Special Education license, and am working on a Master's in Mathematics Education.

Mrs. Michelle Malchuk

I'm excited to be joining Highland Elementary as a Special Education teacher.  My husband and I live on a sheep ranch and have two grown children, a son and a daughter.  Before coming to Highland Elementary, I worked as a sub in Greeley District 6 for 6 years in grades K-12 and at the library at Madison Elementary before teaching at Centennial Elementary as an Interventionist/Co-teacher for 3 years.  There I taught second grade for 1 year and co-taught 4th grade math.  Some things I enjoy are spending time with family and friends, taking walks, collecting heart-shaped rocks, carving stamps, crocheting, blueberries, and students who try even though it might be tough.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and am working on my Master's Degree in Mathematics Education and have an alternative license in Special Education.  I'm looking forward to working with you and helping you learn and grow.  We are going to have a great year!
