Miss Tremaine

Hello, Huskies! My name is Heidi Tremaine and this is my second year as the Physical Education teacher at Highland Elementary School. One of my favorite things about teaching here is being immersed in the strong agricultural roots that so many students come from. I was born and raised in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where I was part of the seventh generation to live on the family farm. My family owns about 25 Angus and Simmental cow-calf pairs and my older brother, younger sister, and I cherished our time as members of the local 4-H and FFA organizations while growing up.

I attended college at Indiana Tech and played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse during my time there. In 2020, I decided to move out to Colorado with my dog, Zeke, to experience all of the activities that the mountains have to offer. I enjoy hiking, biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, snowshoeing, camping, backpacking, and frequenting local coffee shops with friends. I’m looking forward to another fun-filled year with the Highland Husky Pack!
