Mrs. Tara Kesterson

I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade here at Highland Elementary! I have had the awesome opportunity to start my career in education as a paraprofessional and many of the students knew me as "Ms. Tara". I graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) with my Bachelor of Science degree. I absolutely love school myself and am excited to share my passion of learning with the students of Highland.

I am a native of Southern Colorado and moved to Northern Colorado in 2011. My husband of 21 years, three kids and I love to go camping, hiking and being outdoors. I am also a 4-H leader and love to garden, bake, craft and spend time with family and friends.
